About the Author
I believe I am qualified to write this book because God orchestrated it.
My husband, Doug, the subject of the book, has always wanted to glorify God by sharing the circumstances and reasons he is a Christ follower today. For my part, I happen to love to write.
We both desire to serve God and see this book as an extension of that desire. Doug has been sharing bits and pieces of his life with me for the past nine years. We have attempted to paint the beautiful picture of life with belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In order to get there, though, it was necessary to go to some very dark places. We hope that sharing Doug's journey will help others to find their way to the loving arms of Jesus Christ. I believe my purpose in life is sharing God's love through encouragement and acts of service. I worked as a mental health social worker for ten years and have been a special educator for the past eight. I am also working on a PhD in Education. I live with my husband and children in Centerville, Ohio.
